Aims and Objectives

Aims of the project:

  1. To experiment self-efficacy learning methods and strategies for at risk of dropout students, with visual-design tools aimed at the strengthening of self-reliance and at the training pathways attractiveness.
  2. To support and motivate the students coming from disadvantaged environments towards the achievement of their educational potential, through experiential learning;
  3. To back the development of a Virtual Reflective Learning approach to foster the real involvement of all the students, included those students coming from less favored environments.
  4. To support teachers in the early identification and the struggle against dropout phenomenon with multimedia and cooperative teaching resources, to be shared between equals and students.

 Operative objectives of the project are:

  1. To strengthen young people’s perception of scholastic education importance, with the aim to raise the expectations and to stimulate not only the learning capabilities but also the learning motivations;
  2. To support the families of at risk of scholastic dispersion young people with information and training tools;
  3. To reinforce the teachers’ role in the prevention and conflict of the scholastic dropout phenomenon, with teaching motivational tools planned for psycologically fragile students.
  4. To create innovative learning environments aimed at increasing the value of the training pathways perception and at the rise of self-confidence:
  5. To boost the alliance among the world of school, enterprises, public authorities and the associations representing the families through the establishment of a COMMETTE OF USER, which will develop a cooperation agreement for the exploitation of RAPPORT products over the time and on a large scale.
  6. To foster the transfer of contents learned in everyday life, by means of the introjections of the technologies mobility concept (from a laptop to a mobile telephone to a tablet), of social space management (acting within the various groups and social network), of conceptual flexibility (passing from a thematic focus to another).

The project offers a concrete solution to reinforce several target typologies:

  1. The families of origin, are often characterized by cultural poverty, with scanty expectations towards education and their son’s scholastic success. In most cases they are immigrant families or families with a low economic and professional condition which can affect negatively the son’s expectations with regard to the purpose of a successful scholastic pathway;
  2. The teachers: not always adequately qualified to face the existential and relational dimension related to scholastic dropout;
  3. The schools, which often are not able to provide an effective guidance to motivate young people to a training "second chance" , through apprenticeship pathways.

Project Team

The project team of  "Environmental Tourism – Alternative Ways", Comenius-Regio is a team whose members belong to all associated partners of each region and their functions are assigned to corresponding activities of the project.
